Rustic winter minestrone soup
A warming soup with a shaved parmesan garnish served with sun-dried tomato foccacia

Warm prawn noodle salad
King prawns with mangetout, red peppers and noodles in a sweet chilli sauce served with a sticky rice mold

Goat’s cheese & caramelised onion bruschetta
Two bruschetta served with watercress and a beetroot syrup

 

Entrees

Turkey ballotine with pancetta
Rolled turkey with a wild mushroom, garlic & sausagemeat stuffing & a port wine sauce

Pork escalope with marsala and juniper
Pan-fried pork in Marsala wine with crushed juniper berries, roasted garlic cloves, ceps and rosemary

Tournedos Rossini
Fillet of beef on a crouton, foie gras, truffles with a Madeira wine & a wild mushroom reduction

*All entrees served with buttered spinach, caramelised carrots, french beans and spicy roast potatoes or triple cooked chips

 

Desserts

Traditional Christmas pudding
A rich pudding served with brandy cream

Plate trifle
Madeira sponge seeped in marmalade, orange juice & cointreau topped with whipped cream, blackberries & blueberries

Lime & ginger posset
A refreshing lime posset with ginger syrup & topped with chopped preserved ginger, served with home-made ginger snaps
